Shun

Shun es uno de los personajes principales del manga y anime Saint Seiya (Caballeros del Zodiaco). Es el caballero de bronce de Andrómeda.

En la mitología china, uno de los tres emperadores legendarios, junto con Yao y Da Yu, de la edad dorada de la antigüedad ( s. XXIII BC), seleccionados por Confucio como modelos de integridad y virtud.

Aunque su padre intentó asesinarlo varias veces, Shun se mantuvo leal a él. Como el cielo y la tierra sabían de las virtudes de Shun, los animales lo ayudaban en todas sus labores. El emperador Yao lo eligió como sucesor, dejando de lado a su propio hijo, y le dio sus dos hijas en matrimonio. A Shun se le atribuye la estandarización de pesos y medidas, la regulación de vías navegables y la organización del reino en provincias.
